Kris Kilian, M.E.Sc.
CEO and Director
Kris established Lynx Engineering Consultants in 1993. He holds a Master of Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Australia. Prior to establishing Lynx, Kris worked for Wholohan, Grill and Partners as Branch Manager of Structural Mechanics and Dynamics and BHP Engineering as a Supervising Principal Dynamics and FEA (finite element analysis) Engineer. He has extensive experience managing railroad-related projects and has developed many different solutions for rail condition monitoring. He is also the inventor of several patents and has written numerous publications on developments in railroad technology.
Monica Kilian, Ph.D.
Monica established Lynx Engineering Consultants in 1993. She holds a Master of Commercial Law degree from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Arts from the University of British Columbia (Canada), and a PhD in philosophy from Murdoch University. She has extensive experience and knowledge in railway, contract management, and commercial and intellectual property law. She has also written numerous publications on legal issues and on developments in railroad technology.
Vladimir Mazur, Ph.D.
Western Australia Manager, Principal Engineer and Director
Vladimir has been employed at Lynx since 1994. He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering (Applied Structural Mechanics, Structural Analysis and Testing) from St. Petersburg University of Civil Engineers and Architects (Russia). His previous experience includes working as a lecturer at St. Petersburg University and Kazakh Technical University and providing structural design and consulting services to private companies. While working at Lynxrail, Vladimir has gained extensive knowledge and experience in railroad vehicles and apparatus. He is also the inventor of several patents and has written numerous publications on developments in railroad technology.
